You could leave it open for a while, and I'm sure it would patch. But that doesn't change the fact you can't see the login bar.

No idea why you have a jademonkey.exe in that folder.

It looks like you downloaded the full client from us. Unfortunately I'm not the right admin to answer this question, but I did watch your video and I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video.

It's quite early here right now, but I expect Tcholok to be awake soon. I've already left him a message. Hopefully he can help before he goes to work.

Do you have Skype? and Teamviewer?

i made two characters and now they are gone, only part that bothers me is i can't use the names again, please tell me this can be fixed. also, Cloud, can i get an inducter id from ya for my first char?

I can look into that. The names should be able to be used again since the database lost that information. It's like it never happened.

But if it turns out that you can't use those names I'll see if we can do something in the backend for that. Never really tried before tbh, as this has never happened before.

There really is no good way to say this, so just going to keep it simple.

We fucked up, we lost 41 hours of data. We figured out why this happened, and we have changed our backup process to prevent this from happening again.

We are also creating an incremental backup  system. This way if for some reason an error like this DOES happen again, we will have more backups to work with.

Unfortunately our last backup was corrupted, the error seems to have been in effect for over 24 hours.

We're very sorry about the inconvenience and the loss to your work, and we are going to find ways to make this up to you.

First of all everyone will receive the equivalent of 2 days voting jaden during 2x rewards. This means every account created before the rollback will receive 2000 jaden.

More compensation to come in game, we were completely blindsided by this and are still working out ways to make this up to you guys.

We can't guarantee that this won't happen again, but this is the first time it has ever happened between our two servers and we did find and fix the cause of the error.

If you donated during this time and have any issues with your donation then please pm Tcholok.

If you created an account in the past 41 hours then it probably doesn't exist. So if you can't login, that's most likely why.

I really wish there was something else I could do or say, but this information is gone forever. All I can do is apologize and promise that we will do our best to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.

I expect Tcholok will add in some comments after.

yep, i did that again and again,
but the client still show me alien language...
i've tried to delete the Elementskill.dll n try full check, its nothing.
replace the MJlauncher with the new one, nothing happen too.

It looks like there is some kind of video error on your computer. maybe if you run a dxdiag it could help? I'm really not sure. Definitely mentions direct x in that error message.

Try making sure your direct x is updated, and check and make sure your video card is up to date.

As far as the player committee goes Aren't the Gs's Supposed to be the voice of the Population?

They are to some extent. You don't have to be 'staff' to provide feedback though.

I get a lot of people asking about Voida ascension, affinity, and chroma skills.

I have spent well over 100 hours on this issue. Currently there is only one server with working Voida skills and he had to remove esper ascension to make it work. We are the ones who supplied him with the fix. We COULD easily have been the first.

We didn't do it because the loss of esper ascension effects all factions, and all players, whereas working voida skills only effect voidas. It seemed very unfair to remove something from everyone to gain something for few.

Since then we have acquired 5 other fixes. All of which have some kind of an issue in them.

I expect we will have voida skills fixed soon. Sadly it is not a flick of a switch. If you are experienced with game development basically the actual server data doesn't match the libraries.

This will be fixed soon, but right now we will focus on other ways to improve the server, and as soon as a voida skill fix is possible, it will be done. I still search for a fix daily.

I'm posting this because with so many players now it is impossible for me to respond to you individually.

One more thing to note, if you have a means to contact me, please don't ask me what I'm working on, what's going to be in the next patch, etc. The time spent answering all the people who ask these kinds of questions takes me away from working on patches, and since I write the patches alone this is preventing me from finishing patches. I honestly do not have the time to tell you guys all about what I'm working on.

I would be interested in creating a player advisory committee again, it didn't go well last time, but if people think they have what it takes to help the admins make game param decisions, pm me.

It said Downloading config.pck...and after a while its said download failed...

Delete config.pck and run full check. It will take some time, but it should resolve.

By the way, I wanted to point this out and forgot.

Most servers claim ddos attack when they make a mistake. We have never been ddosd before, we are not worth the effort and time. The legal issues people can face for ddosing a server is not worth it for anyone who knows enough about doing it.

I'm not saying we can't be ddosd or anything like that. Anyone can, I'm just saying that 9 times out of 10 when a server claims they are being ddosd it's a lie. Usually they just screwed something up and don't have the balls to be transparent with their customers.

Is it actually safe to vote while server down?

There have been times when jaden delivery didn't work if server was down, but our logs still log the vote and we can see which ones failed. So we can easily re-send if that does happen .

We have a very sophisticated log system that allows us to log anything and everything.

Server crashed a few mins ago. We are working to get it back up asap. Will update with more information as needed.

Partial connectivity now, some realms are still down. Can't guarantee stability right now.

Usually full check resolves the problem. Sometimes you need to delete some files and then run full check. Depending on what's not working in game.
